What started out as a kitchen project to give Rob something to "snack on" resulted in something that everyone loves to eat! Once we moved past Rob liking Nots!, we started developing a formulation that provided sunflower "snackability" with a dedication to allergen sensitivity. We believe that food allergies, particular those present in children, can often be stigmatized. No one wants to eat the "special" food so why make a product that only certain people have to eat? Why not make good food for everyone wants to eat but just happens to be something many allergy sufferers can enjoy too? Nots! received guidance and development assistance with Minnesota's Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) and started in a commercial kitchen in Fergus Falls, MN. Requests were coming in so fast that we quickly outgrew that kitchen. What did we do? Built our own Top 8 allergen-free production facility of course! Please let us know what you think!
